Water and Beautiful Skin

<< Back to Water Education

Ancient civilizations recognized the healing power of natural hot and cold springs. Back in the 4th century BC., the Greek physician Hippocrates prescribed bathing and spring water for its therapeutic effects. In Europe, where is especially popular, there are numerous health spas and health facilities for all types of “water cures.”

But nowadays, the alarming rate of water contamination has lead spas across the nation to focus on purified water system. Many spa owners claim that regular tap water contains bacteria and minerals which can clog pores. Over time, this can inflict dull skin and eventually skin problems & other health complications.

  • Experts say the cleaner the water, the better it can clean.
  • The purer the water, the more pure the skin.
  • Filters help weed out things like chlorine and heavy metal.
  • The cleaner, softer water, they say, attributes to not only clearer, but also softer skin.
  • Hard water can irritate skin, even making it red. But, while spa-going is a luxurious way to spend the afternoon, not practical for everyone’s wallet, everyday. With a whole house water purification system at home, cleansing the face in your own sink can have the same radiant effect on your skin.
  • Washing your body & drinking pure water can lead to healthier body and more radiant skin. Perhaps the search is over. The fountain of youth could be springing at your home, after all.
